Trainingsdrills

Crash training drill 1
Beginners please execute this drill without an S.D.S.

The free hand parries the partner's attacking hand , the S.D.S. hits the partner's fist. Try and increase the speed continuously to improve reaction time and precision. The aim is to disable the attacker's hand and provoke the opponent into a defensive reaction.

Block/Check drill 1
Beginners please execute this drill without an S.D.S. Alternate hitting a diagonal strike with the fore- and backhand. The partner blocks and checks the strike. Then switch places.

Break-out techniques

Basic break-out technique 1 when choked
Control the attacking hand with your free hand and assume a sideways position. Protect the weak points on your body! Apply pressure to the attacker's sternum with the S.D.S., step back and create distance.

Blocking techniques

Blocking counter-technique
Here are some blocking- and counter-techniques against punches.
Block against an attack with the knife - version 1
Step outside of the attacking line and hit the opponent's forearm with the butt of the S.D.S. Then create distance

The clips showing various techniques are supposed to give you a glimpse of our training system (slide the cursor onto the picture and press play). We have tried to make these videos easy to follow, but looking at the technique itself can never be a substitute for real-life training with a qualified instructor. The technical details that are explained and fine-tuned with a professional instructor are the decisive factor in the success or failure of the self defense system.
